Incite Sunday ..February 1

The past few Sundays I've described spiritual growth from Hebrews 5&6...God's word is tough sometimes but it shows us that we all still have room to grow !! At the end of the sermon this week I asked that February 1st to be a High attendance Sunday..and that night we discussed what I meant by that ..either we believe in what God Is Doing With Us at Macedonia or we don't. As we saw God allowed us to raise a lot of money last year for His Glory and for His Gospel.. I believe we were able to because we Believed in what He was doing, we had Faith in God To help us and He provided us the Victory. Jason told us we had 27 in attendance last year on the first Sunday of February. So the mark was set at 127 for this year. This is why I call it INCITE Sunday
Incite means

to stir, encourage, or urge on; stimulate or prompt to action: .

I believe God wants Macedonia to cause a Stir in Anderson County, so many others things do, why cant we for God...! Other Churches do it .. just to promote themselves ( you know it and I know It) , We can make a difference For Jesus and incite others for the cause of Christ !!! We need to tell others its not about the show or the building or the programs !! but about the person of Jesus ..May our call be to win people back to Jesus from all the distractions of the "church" and the world in 2009.. .
