Mission
A training center of
Tribes in Asia for Christ
On behalf of the fourteen student of Tribal Center for Mission (TCM), we thank you for all the gifts we received from you. The brand new and used clothing, shoes (new and used), books and Christian literatures, canned goods, tooth paste, chain saw, and many more. Those are a big blessing to all of them. (Note regarding the pictures: Four of the students have not arrived yet from their outreaches).
God is good! For the first time, we are able to conduct a 10 days Community Health Care Training held on August 21-31, 2007 at Tribal Center for Mission. Thank God for Dr. Blandy Blando, who volunteer and raised fund for the said training.
TCM, usually invite Municipal Doctor to conduct teaching for 1-2 days only. We teach the student also how to prepare herbal medicines. Why “Health Care” is part of our curriculum? Tribes in Asia for Christ vision is reaching the unreached tribes in Asia for Christ. Thus, we penetrate to the remotes and far-flung area, where health worker is much needed. With the little knowledge they can get from the TCM, they can save and improve the lives of the villagers. Attached photo.
Part of the training is the hospital exposure trip to Tuguegarao City. The student went to Cagayan Valley Regional Medical Center and People’s Emergency Hospital. Of the 14 students 3 of them has not been in the City. Eight of them were first time to eat in Jollibee (a local fast food).
Ptr. Arman Cruzem is one of the resource speakers of Bible League. He teaches Cell church to TCM student last September 3-12, 2007. Ptr. Cruzem and family is a former missionary to Cambodia of Bible League. He also teaches Parenting. He used the video teaching of Rev. Clemente Guillermo.
TCM will continue its class until first week of December, 2007. Afterwards, the student will be deployed to Abra province for 10 months field work. Abra province is our target area for church planting. It is one of the communist strongholds in northern Philippines and hot spot during political election. Our target towns are Tineg, Abra. We already have 4 workers in the area. And another in Lacub, Abra. A couple is already doing a pioneering work in a village that is a shadow government of Communist guerillas...
Please pray for the following:
1. We are using a borrowed Television and DVD/VCD player. Pray for a brand new Television and DVD/VCD player.
2. Once we deploy our student to Abra, we will send them by two’s and each group needs monthly assistance. Pray for their monthly support.
3. Please pray for God’s daily provision for our TCM student and transportation allowance during weekends.
4. Our TCM building is not fully finished and our facilities are not fully furnished. Pray for God’s provision to finish and furnish our facilities.
5. Pray for TCM staff, volunteer teachers for God’s anointing and wisdom.
“Finally, brethren, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored just as it was with you” 2 Thes. 3:1.
