John chapter 6 for Sunday morning... read it !!

Merry Christmas

Luke 2:1-14
(1)  And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
(2)  (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
(3)  And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
(4)  And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
(5)  To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
(6)  And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
(7)  And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
(8)  And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
(9)  And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
(10)  And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
(11)  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
(12)  And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
(13)  And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
(14)  Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

This month has been a whirl wind ....703 professions of faith in Costa Rica...developing plans to reach out to the community .....a 5th Sunday night singing...we have been able to do a lot for Jesus this month...
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Now as we enter into September,we need to encourage one another with these words . Allow only good thoughts into your mind so as you may be a blessing to those around you. Never be a source of confusions and discouragement, in every thing Glorify Jesus first !!

Proverbs 31:28-31

Guarding Our Minds is an important part of the christian walk, with out it we are prone to get swept away by all types of things... It all comes down to allowing the Holy Spirit to filter those things that contend for your attention !!

Remember the yard sale !!! Our first fund raiser for Mission Trip Costa Rica ! I'll be at church at 6 am . Pray for me, that I wake up

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2Ch 7:14)

We as Christians need prayer. God wants us to go to Him and seek out His will and place for us . But when pride enters in and we refuse, to at least try to live a life pleasing Him then what happens to our prayers ? The days pass so fast ..
Seek the Face of almighty God this week.
